According to the website TechnoBuffalo.com and Pocket-lint, there will be six BlackBerry 10 devices launching in early 2013, two of which have already been exposed by RIM. These particular models are said to be the Canadian company’s flagship BB10 devices, “expected to be at the forefront of the new push from RIM and reaffirm its efforts at turning the ship back on course.”

Was hoping for a slide out keyboard like the 9810. to me it's the best of both.

Don't you mean the 9800 series? Don't think the 8300 series had a slideout keypad, did it?

Re: Six BlackBerry 10 devices launching in early 2013?
I'm due an upgrade in December. If they can firm up a launch date for some of these devices, I might sit tight for a while. My wife hates her 9330, and I'm getting pretty sick of mine.

By bringing it back on course does that mean it will be competing with iOS and Android devices? Blackberry really went out of the scene since iOS and Android applications became popular. But WhatsApp also has great applications only poor advertising

More specifically, I'm hoping for a 9810-esque phone that works on Verizon!

Re: Six BlackBerry 10 devices launching in early 2013?
Oh I hope so! I just used my upgrade to get another Torch 9850 because I love the one I have and was afraid Blackberry might go away. Hubby & I tried the Samsung Galaxy for 12 days. Couldn't stand it. The location kept turning it's on, it wanted to log me into web sites, battery wouldn't last a day (and that was with very little use, I was at work). Hubby who had originally wanted to try the galaxy from his older curve didn't like it as much as he thought he would. I had to buy apps for the thing to get a functional alarm clock and good text message program, things the BB comes with and the free versions had a ton of ads and would connect you to the net everytime you used them. A lot of other things too. We both now have the Torch and I have my back up one. Grow strong BB, we need you!

Re: Six BlackBerry 10 devices launching in early 2013?
I am going for the big screen for my aging eyes.
I used to love the keyboard but now i can use either.
A landscape slider would be nice, always thought the keyboard on 9800 series was a lil cramped but I manager for over a year on one.

Re: Six BlackBerry 10 devices launching in early 2013?
As a blackberry user, i was thinking of migrating to other smartphones as blackberry has not been supporting free calls app like viber, skype, rebtel, tango. Plus the blackberry app world is so ordinary. I hope Rim will take this into consideration and make bb much more exciting as we wait for the new handset before we make the decision.

Wait till the new platform comes out. I agree with what you are saying, BB have fallen behind the likes of android and IOS but I couldnt be without mine for email, bbm reliability etc

Re: Six BlackBerry 10 devices launching in early 2013?
The way it looked to me isn't that they "fell behind" to Android and iOS, it's that they tried to directly compete with them. They may be competitors but they are two completely different machines. Android and iOS are direct competitors trying their hardest to supply the masses with the flashiest device with the most extravagant feature set - BB never should have stepped into those waters. I still think BB needs to stop wasting time with full-touch phones. When you email all day away from home - nothing beats that keyboard - and BB has the best one on the market.

Wow. That's a fine looking device. If the OS performs like the hardware looks, oh boy!

Re: Six BlackBerry 10 devices launching in early 2013?
TheStreet (NY Times) is running a poll and says almost 80% will get the device when it comes out. I am one of them.
And i gree with you all here that RIM is not in the race to make those almost-laptop and stick them to people buttocks. Rather a decent size device wll be nice to have. Just provide option for touchies and keyboardies and should be nice market to stay float.
