Re: RIM could halt production of Playbook
I could see that as well. Why not stop production on the WiFi only model if it isn't doing well, they have the 3G/4G models being released shortly anyway, don't they?

I don't think they know what they are doing right now. What RIM needs is a change at the top and a fresh perspective.

Re: RIM could halt production of Playbook
A follow-up article in BGR today says it's not happening:
RIM: xxx039;No plan to discontinuexxx039; BlackBerry PlayBook
This is a response from RIM to an earlier story on BGR.

Seems the blogs forget to check their sources.
Or, even have a source in the first place.

Wasn't even a company source. Just an analysts opinion.

Re: RIM could halt production of Playbook
My opinion is that Apple will change their name to Pear.
I analyze things all day, so the above statement must be true.

juwaack68, I am so glad I was able to see your analysis before everyone was quoting you. I was able to sell all my Apple stock before I took a pounding.
I feel so lucky....

Never trust BGR. Or any blog that doesn't check its source.

It's source was an analyst. It said so. Analyst don't provide fact, only opinion. And by the way, Microsoft has a larger market share in the tablet market then does RIM and we know how crappy MS tablets are. It doesn't bode well for RIM.

Re: RIM could halt production of Playbook
As a fully grown Troll, he is obligated to tell us about all the wonderful devices he has.
My Windows Phone 7 is right here. Can't customize ring tones, can't connect to hidden WiFi networks and doesn't have an Office Communicator client. For me, a non starter.
And yet my 9700 just keeps on working. Amazing.
