From my perspective, this is one of those "be careful what you wish for" situations. It's a disaster on iOS. Mine crashes constantly on my iPhone 5s, plus nobody has received any of the messages I've sent to their BlackBerrys.

Well, I'm picking up contacts, and they are android and iPhone users. All work well so far.
I really didn't think my son would install it, but he did. His comment? "Cool" High praise from him. What more could I ask for?

I updated tonight (2nd update for BBM) and it sorted all my problems. BBM on the iPhone is great! It's still best on my Q10 though.  |

My son downloaded bbm on his iphone 5. His comment: "i missed bbm". His gripes - does not vibrate on incoming message and there is a limit on the number of pings...

I understand implementing a Ping limit. Some idiots (like me!) would turn in Airplane Mode, Ping somebody 39 or 49'times, and then turn off Airplane Mode. Some poor BB user would have to sit through 5 minutes of his phone going berserk until BBM cleared up and the Pings ran their course.
I'm sure BBM will gain a lot of the features missing on the cross-platform version. Two updates since release 2 weeks ago is pretty darn good, especially for a company struggling to get back in track.
