So, I'm getting ready to test BES 4.1 in our environment. I go a temporary ID and Key from RIM but do I need a temp user license as well os can I use one of the licenses on our production server without any problems?

I believe the temp ID and key gives you 20 test users.

They should have given you an expiration-limited 20 user CAL license, in addition to the SRP.
