Tried to order 8800 from Amazon but kept getting 175$ termination fee assessment. Anyway, after reading "baconismidog's" post about Cingular's, customer service and remembering last good interaction I had with a CS rep, I called and asked what they could do. Stressed needs of job expanding and keeping # coupled with good price and also stressed adding data plan and then she put me on hold for a few. Anyway, she came back and said that amazon wants to ppl to get service through them, blah, blah,blah.....anyway *drumroll* she said they would MATCH amazon's price of 125!

Btw, not only is this an existing account, it is also a family plan!

I assumed if they honored the match on one they would on the other.

That is very odd. Try calling again and see if you get a different rep.
