Default Tetris on BlackBerry?

Please Login to Remove!

Just wondering if it exists. IMO, this is pretty much the definative portable game and a BB wouldn't be complete without it. I've looked though and haven't been able to find it (not even a clone). Thanks.

That tetris game above looks poor..

Links:

http://krzak.linux.net.pl/f/html/

A good commercial tetris (but non freeware and not sure about compatbility):

There was a promising looking open source Tetris but it seems to haev dissapeared.. not any of the ones above, but at least there are choices.

The Blue Lava version looks pretty good, but does anyone know if it's compatible with a BlackBerry?

You might try Blocks! at http://www.bradgoodman.com/blackberry/. It's a no-frills clone of Tetris that's very playable on my 7230.

Yes i tried bradgoodman, but it's payware. =)

Maybe it's worth paying for, we'll see after 9 more games expire (it gives you a 10 game trial)

Slow?! No way... I'm running this on my Sanyo cell and it runs as if I were using a PC! Now just imagine how fast it runs on the Treo 650. ;) I won't even tease you with JBenchMark results. I didn't realize BlackBerry's were so slow until I tried running some software on the BlackBerry, and then comparing it to software running on a mid-priced cell phone. Talk about snail's pace!

Not trying to bash... just stating an observation. By the way, the Treo 650 has out-of-the-box support for Exchange (deliveries every minute), and will be supporting BlackBerry Connect sometime in the coming weeks.

Awesome, that's right, i bought my blackberry to play games.. *not*

who bloody cares? Anything that I can load onto my blackberry which makes it more useful is just a bonus. What it does for my e-mail and network connectivity is great as it is..

games are just extras..

if you wanted to play games, buy a gameboy.
