Default New BB 8800

I am having an issue with my 8800. On the device I go to Messages > Options > Email Settings > Folder Redirection > ...and here I select what folders I want email to come through on the blackberry. If an email comes through and goes into one of these folders I select the emails shows up under messages (GREAT!). If I read that message and exit out. The messages disapears. That drives me insane. I now have to select view folder and select the email. This never happened with the 7290 I used to have.

Is there any way around this, I want any messages that go into a folder via rules setup in outlook, to stay in my inbox like the 7290 used to do.

Regards,
Bryan

if you don't want to have the messages disappear, then you just need to go into the messages icon, go into options, general options and were it says hide filed messages, make sure it says no

this should fix your issue.

It does, but as djbeenie says, that's not how pre 4.1 devices worked. you could also file into Deleted Items before 4.2. I haven't found a way to replicate that behavior but please email [email address] about it.
