Default Spell check for email and sms

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB 8703e, and my spelling needs help. I am looking for a program that will check my spelling in emails and sms. What do you think is the best one on the market, in terms of speed, ease of use, and running clean. I guess that all of these type of progerams are server based (needs to check spellng data base over the air, not based on my BB)

thanks for your help

I use eSpell by Dynoplex. By far the best spell checker I've tried.

There is also BBCorrector, which is free but not as good as eSpell.

I also use eSpell by Dynoplex. It is the only spell check I've seen that does it from the device without having to send your email to another server to be checked.

No, PIN and email only. However, the last time I talked to them they said that spellchecking for SMS and Memopad were in the works and planned for future versions.

Before you try any of these commercial ones try bbSpell. Link and review on my tips site plus discount coupon. Also discussion of bbcorrector too.

Here:

eSpell is an ultimate spell-checker for BlackBerry, DynoPlex Inc.

Point taken. But I hide eFile and have no issues with it.

IMHO eSpell simply works the way that a spell checker should work: it's on your device, it checks the spelling and gives options to correct it.

I save wireless communication for actually sending the finished emails.
...and I'm a snob about it!

I will have to agree with you on eSpell. I had a heck of a time getting it to work properly, plus the fact that it adds a tremendous amount of files to your BB. Perhaps I just had bad luck with it, but I must admit I am hesitant to try it again. The cost too, is prohibitive for what the Program offers.

Just my opinion....

How do I remove those extra files components added by them? I emailed them twice with no replies.

Thanks!

I agree. What's the point of secure email when you're uploading your messages to a third party server. I'm not nearly a dynoplex fanboy nor do I loke the efile/eOffice being loaded but it is a small price to pay for a spell check on the device that is fast and works well.

Also, check the aftermarket forum, someone posted a link to another device based (?) spell check.
