I have had a separate folder for SMS under Zen theme, in both versions I have tried, telefonica and optus.
The icon is different from the old 4.1 version, looks like phone sitting on sheet of paper.

Thanks, got the seperate message folders.

The red is not for pin messages, at least on my BB, ALL received messages are in red, and sent are in black.

Also noticed the low volume, and I tried raising the volume in speaker phone mode, and all other ways, it is still quite low, AND, I have 2 Dimension Zen themes, one is "Dimension Zen" and it works, and "Dimension-Zen" and it does not work. I believe when I was with the other OS, the one I chose was "Dimension-Zen", I wonder if there is a way to get that back?

Thanks,
Michael

Anyone have any ideas what I can do to get it back?

AND, what is with the red font. Anyway to change that to black?

Michael
Seperate Folders:
General Options>SMS and Email Inboxes>change option
I don't use that so I don't know if it will do what you want.

What red font?

Edit: I got distracted while writing reply and you got your answer

I noticed a post regarding Yahoo and Cingular now working together on this OS. I have my domains hosted by Yahoo but route it thru Gmail for instant e-mail. I still have the old BIS (1.8 ?) and use a setup developed to get that instant e-mail but get no reconcile features.

Has anyone been able to check if Yahoo e-mail addresses will provide reconciliation with the BB on Cingular BIS with this OS?

No, the ringtone volume is low in this release as well. I would equate the volume to "Medium" in 4.1 releases. :-/ Kinda sucky if you ask me, because I considered the "High" volume in 4.1 to be too quiet to begin with.

There's O2 zen and today.

The simulators can be found here
https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...897474079C1477

EDIT: I should mention that getting the themes out of the simulator package and onto a device requires javaloader and a fair level of comfort with the blackberry platform. The themes are also not readily usable on the sim.

I'm not convinced that this OS is an improvement over Venezuala. As noted above, the volume issue is not fixed. And the Vodafone Today theme is actually worse. With Venezuala, it shows your current profile in the phone and email apps - that is removed here. Not a biggie but I don't see any advantages except for Chinese. I think that I'm going back.

Simply replace your Blackberry.alx file with the downloaded one and open Desktop Manager and Run Application Loader. "Core Applications" will show "update." Finish the installation. The BB will reboot and you'll have new themes.

The themes may be on your BB already. The B&W theme can be difficult to navigate but do your best. Find the swiss army knife icon (that's Options or settings) and then go down to themes and try switching.

The B&W theme (no theme) happens when the theme that was on the BB is gone. It doesn't automatically switch to another theme. It simply loads no theme at all.

Did you follow the instructions above on how to navigate the B&W theme to change themes?

make sure the blackberry.alx you downloaded is for the OS you have installed. Did you download the blackberry.alx in the first post of this thread?
