Default using someone elses pin??

Please Login to Remove!

So i recently had a situation where i had a bbm convo with a friend which ended. My contact then disappeared from her list, and i had not deleted her, and she had not disappeared from mine but then she receive a request from me to be re added, which I did not send. From there she had a conversation with someone that wasn't me, because the rest of that conversation never appeared on my phone, yet i have seen it on hers.

Can anyone explain how this is possible? Or how someone could use my pin but not from my phone?

Was your PIN added to your phone book contact info? It could have disappeard from her list because she didnt add you. She may have just typed in your PIN and started a conversation.

They can't use your PIN unless they physically have the device. The could however send a request using your email address...... I would start by checking your email accounts.

Because each PIN is unique to that particular BlackBerry, no one else can get your PIN messages. Recently carriers have been experiencing problems with BB Messenger so it's possible PIN messages were sent to you but never arrived, floating off into cyberspace somewhere. But for them to end up on another device should not be possible.
