Our phones our lower, but that does not mean that they have zero effect.

If I had a 9700 I would use a wired headset and not let the phone sit in my lap. I would NOT use bluetooth (just another set of RF even closer to your brain with a clear shot through the ear canal).

So my personal opinion is that "which" phone you have not important. How you use it "may be".

RF occurs where ever there is electricity. Thus, the wired headset (with two little magnets, and several coils of copper which actuate the speaker) are equally close to your brain.

The amount of FUD associated with this is simply phenomenal.

PS 2.4 GHz is the same band that your microwave operates in, you use that, right ?

The RF from the wires is trivial compared to the power to get a signal to a cell tower... no comparison, really.

Search "rf exposure cell" in Google and you get plenty of reading overall on this topic.

To the OP

All other arguments aside - consider use of your BB as you would any other risk you encounter on a daily basis.

When you wake up in the morning, there could be millions of things which adversely effect you - from a car accident to a meteorite hurtling into the earth causing an extinction level event.

The net - Life goes on. Doing anything is a calculated risk. And you can assume anything which shields the phone from emitting RF, will probably adversely effect the signal. Living inside a TEMPEST box simply isn't an option for most of us.

Welcome to the forums. It's probably best for you to make a fresh post instead of hijacking one that had nothing to do with what you're asking.

Cheers

AMG!!! I'm just packing my last few bits and moving to the Antartic Continent, lets hope in there I can have some normal life far from this human made devices that cook your brain...

Seriouslly, there are things you can avoid but again, why should you really? Yes, there are over one zillion things that we created that could kill ourselves but they made our lives easier and so easier that living with them is worth the risk. The cave man had a way shorter life than we have and he didnt have all the gadgets that we do so why should we really worry so much if in the end all of this supposed gadgets are in what they call "safe scale".

I think if you really worried about everything that may endenger your life you just stopped living cause there isn't a safer place and we live 24/7 exposed to danger and wont be a mobile that will kill you (I hope) so if you think that changing the way you're exposed to its RFs will save you 5 min of life you should consider changing your whole way of living to save yourself 2h of life maybe. Think about X-Rays and MIR scans....

Is it really worth?

Unless you really use your mobile for 24/7 no stop you shouldnt really worry about it. My daily talk time is average 1h - 1h30m and I think I talk a lot...
