Who thinks this site could do with a new logo?? I think the existing one is looking a little dated or tired....is a redesign required?

Maybe, but I don't agree that its dated and tired. Its an 8700 series BlackBerry. How much more current are you wanting.

I think it would be a bad idea to change it. It is like any other logo, it provides an identity and it is recognizable. Look at McDonalds or Wal-Mart. Even GE has a logo that is world known.

I can see just the BBforums icon and know exactly what I am looking at.

Sure the devices are great...and yes the logo has an 8700 (keep it!)...but the site design, the type font and style of the logo words, the colours, could do with a bit of streamlining...just a suggestion to make the site even more appealing than it already is!

Thanks for your suggestions. Guess (owner/operator) does take all suggestions into consideration. I do agree with you that changing the site helps keep it new and fresh feeling. Then again, I am not the one who has to do all the work either.

How about an 8800, this way youll have time before you need to change again.

my personal preference would be w/o a blackberry at all, to be honest. i'm more for an actual individualized logo rather than a brand. none of this is my decision, though... so consider these just my opinions and not that of the owner.
