I am looking for anyone that has either a default policy.bin file that disables all security features or the itpolicy.exe. If anyone has one or both of these files please send to
.
I have done everything from Options --> Security --> wipe to javaloader -usb wipe to typing the wrong password and everytime I reload (even from a machine that was never connected to the corporate network to prevent registry entries causing problems) it still holds the policy. I had heard that someone thought it might be stored in ROM and now I am convinced it definitely is because I have done everything but throw the thing out the window to get the policy off.
I am only looking for a method to remove the policy after a wipe, I have left the organization that I was at that set the policy so I can't get them to send a blank policy to the handheld. I have all the data and important stuff backed up using the BB Backup tool and in outlook and just want to take control of my BB since I did pay for it and feel now that I am not on the corporate network anymore I should have control over what I do with it.
Thanks for anyone that can help.
