Thank you for using Minuet! Unfortunately, Minuet currently has limited support for secured transactions. We do not recommend using Minuet for secured access at this point.

Updated: Minuet V3.0 now supports secured web access.

If someone could upload the JAR and JAD demo somewhere else it might help , enven if Its A different version.

(I'm assuming you are referring to Minuet?) Were you pointing your Blackberry browser to the download link (http://www.triprince.com/minuetbb.jad)? We have verified that link to be functional with our users. Are you able to OTA other applications?

Please download the free demo package (including JAD and JAR files) from Handango (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProd...71740&R=171740)

No download button exhists. (For Me anyways) I wonder if everyone else is currently experiencing this ?

Try putting the file in A directory like ....... www.TP.com/FILES/minuet.jad

Or change A couple thing around and post multiple options for me to download.

Thanks,

BTW : If it's as good as you say it is I'll probably end up buying it when it has A tad more support for Flash/SSL/TLS

Looks like your browser does not support OTA. Are you running OS 4.0 or later? If not, you would need to upgrade your OS. Please check with your service provider for the proper procedures.

Something wrong here.

What would be the optimal settings all around on my 7290 for downloading your file.

Thumbs up Opera mini Beta Version Available!!!!

Hi everyone!

First time writing, but I read most postings.

Finally a blackberry version of the acclaimed opera-mini. It is a beta version that is currently installed and working great in my T-Mobile 7230.

Here is the link and what I did to get it working:

Link (from your built in bb browser) go to: mini.opera.com/bb/ to download this bb version. Unfortunately this version does not support downloads, but is blazing fast! really fast in comparison to the included bb browser.

To get it working go to Options > TCP and type:

APN: wap.voicestream.com or internet2.voicestream.com
Username: (blank) don't type anything
Password: (blank) don't type anything

If it happens not to connect try guest (no caps) for username and password. I use it without it.

Is a crime to have to pay for a decent browser. The Opera-Mini team would like your specific feedback at their forum at: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/forum.dml?id=111

Good luck, remember that you must have the bb feature so you can browse the web regardless, even with TCP open!

I'm pleased to announce that Minuet Browser V2.0 has been released. Please check out the discussion thread at the following link:
http://www.blackberryforums.com/show...031#post188031

Not to bad mouth others but only in the spirit of providing an apple-to-apple comparision, I would humbly point out that Opera-Mini actually relies on "middle-man" servers for accessing the Internet. And their fine-prints say that *nothing* between your handheld and their servers is secured. Minuet, on that other hand, provides complete end-to-end security. Also because Minuet handles everything, you get more features and better experience when viewing pages. Download a free trial and compare

You need a data plan to access the web on a BB. Without it, all you have is a phone and text messaging.

This is the first time I heard about this problem. Is your clock not set properly by any chance?
