Program will not run for me, I don't have Continue or Reset under the menu. I see About, Set Countdown and Close.

SAME here. 8830. The timer sticks at 1 minute and nothing happens.

Hmm, maybe i should have included instructions,you need to set your countdown period, then select start from the menu. the continue and reset options only show if you've already set the period.

Exactly the same here. After setting timer, no option to "make it work."

The latest verizon os for 8830.

I can set the time (it always comes up with 16 hour already showing and I have ZERO that out) but the other menu options don't show.

these issues are strange, i'm unable to replicate on a few devices here or the simulator, such a simple application as well.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I wrote a countdown timer a little while ago. The main thread on it is here

It has a couple of cool features (IMHO, of course), and should work on any device, OS 4.0 and up. There's also a neat chronograph in the forums somewhere that does some extra things related to stop-watch features. I just wanted a simple countdown timer, which is why I wrote mine.

This countdown timer is working well with me.

I'm interested in this app, but wondering if the ability to use tone will be added as an option in the future? I would love to see the "standard" alert options that BB offers (Tone, Vibrate+Tone, Vibrate).

I clicked on the link you provided and i could not find the application. I clicked on the countdown timer and it just took me to an ad page.
