"Better" is a subjective term. Craig'sList definately covers a lot more ground in my opinion, but I always seem to find what I need quicker and cheaper on e-bay. Just my own experience, though, others may disagree.

No, they are two different things.

It would be like comparing a brother and sister.

nice one.

I use both, and they are indeed different tools in my mind.

I use Clist for getting rid of stuff that I don't want (the free section is money!) and selling stuff I would not want to ship.

For highly valued items or smaller items, I will use ebay. Additionally, there is stuff I really don't want people coming to my house for.

I like craigslist when buy BB's. I can actually meet and check out the device before I pay!

My last 3 BB's however were purchased from awesome members here on BBF

Exactly. Craigslist is different...total "free for all" and way less organized than eBay

Ebay is good in that you can sometimes get a good price, but Craigslist is instant gratification. I'll go with Craigslist!

craiglist is where I buy all my stuff from lately. I like the meet and greet aspect of it. And they are owned by the same company.

Craigslist is my personal preference, unless there is a highly rated ebayer who is selling new product.

Personal interaction in a sale is great.

I like craigslist (my local ebay as I call it), simply to avoid shipping charges, and it's usually much faster as far as selling and buying things...guess it kind of sucks if you live in a small area and there aren't many things on it...

My vote is goes for clist ive bought and sold dozens of items on there. No shipping fees cuz of local pick ups/drop offs.

Just gotta be careful i wouldnt recommend going on any solo missions and always tyr and get a phone number.

Craigslist is a fine marketplace tool. I have been known to buy items off of CL and turn around and sell them for more on E-bay.

CL is certainly more of a crap shoot. but I am an evangelist for them. I had a bunch of stuff I needed to get rid of (as in free). Just a quick note, and voila, gone. Got rid of a swingset that way. They disassembled and hauled it. sweet!

I agree I had someone come and take a deck off my house just for the wood. Two other guys took two old storage buildings and some shrubs from me so i love CL

I think I've been really luck so far with craigslist. I've sold some phones and had good success with no fees to ebay, no complaints from buyers, cash transactions and phones that sold faster than on ebay.

I'd definitely continue to use craigslist for most gadgets and perhaps ebay for other items that aren't as 'hot' on the market right now.
