I have several spare Siemens headsets w/ PTT button. Wanted to mod them for my 8700G.

The question is how should I wire the jack? How many conductors does 8700G use? 3 or 4? Which should be connected to tip, middle and sleeve?

it uses 3 conductors. i don't know which does what. but what i do know is that i have a siemens headset (ok it's not an original, but it worked with my siemens dect phone) and it works with my BB too.

I want to wire a telephone reciever privacy set (the part we use to hold in our hand at our ear) into an 8703e. Is this possible?

Is the headset connection on the 7250 the same as the headset connection on the 8703e?

Do either of you know if the power supply cord on a BB 7250 is interchangeable (the same) and as the power supply cord for the BB 8703e?
