Default AT&T Bold Theme (NO BB MAPS)

Please Login to Remove!

I am not sure anyone has discussed this yet. However, when I activated the AT&T theme on my 9000 BB Maps disappeared. What's interesting is it appears to be related to the theme itself and not a alx file. When I go to another theme, BB Maps returns.

Jibi, any thoughts?

Blackberry Maps is now run by Service books. I believe ATT pushes a blank or disabling one as they work with Telenav. I don't see Maps under other themes on my ATT Bold.

yeah, but I switch to another theme (non-at&t). it works. Under every theme it shows up and is functional. Load the at&t theme and it is hidden. Wierd. However, the service book is listed on mine.

i had the same problem. So what I end up doing these days is to leave the vendorID tag alone and it seems to work.

Will Telenav work with the AT&T Bold or do you have to use AT&T Navigator?

AT&T Navigator IS Telenav, just rebranded with AT&T's name.
So yes, Telenav will work.

Note that both Google Maps and WLS have very small text on the Bold. See my other thread.

I would rather pay the $9.99 a month and have my AT&T Navigator (on Blackberry Bold) talk to me rather than constantly looking down and reading text to figure out my next turn. Just my .02 that's all.........

BB Maps doesn't even come close to offering what ATT Nav gives you for $10 a month.
Not even fair to compare the two.

Is there an AT&T theme on my 9000? I upgraded the OS last night to the one AT&T just released but I don’t see an AT&T theme.

Got google maps to work by setting permissions manually to allow for just about everything. Accurate to 3 meters!
