Hey guys,

I've been looking at this forum for a little while since i've gotten my blackberry 8320(T-Mobile version on the AT&T network). The REP let me add the T-Mobile one on my account.

I have been unsucessful in getting the Blackberry APP world program to work cause it says "upgrade your service to a plan that includes browsing and discover a world of possibilities at blackberry app world. Contact your service provider for more details."

I find this funny because i do pay extra for the specific "blackberry data" plan which is $45 a month for JUST the data plus an extra $20 for texting.

I was reading on other forums and this one that the problem is the default browser as the "media mall browser" and to set it to "internet browser" but i don't have that option.

I downloaded the AT&T firmware and spent about an hour reloading it yesterday 2 times and it didn't help me at all. Is their anyway i can get the ATT firmware on this thing? or are their any other ways i can get APP world to work?

which version of app world are you running?
This was a problem for some users when app world first launched.
latest release should be 1.0.0.28.

Make sure you've got this.
then, try a battery pull.

Im unaware about the 8320 having wi-fi. if it does, turn it on, and then start app world. it should try via wi-fi and the message should dissappear.

When you say firmware, you mean the OS? It will not matter whose carrier version OS you have, they are all the same.

i have a question also. im in Italy, and i cant install app world because says i dont meet the system requirments. i have a bold with the latest OS. Why is that happening? thanks

App world is only available to US, Canada and the UK at the moment.

just tried with WIFI, no luck.

and i did download the latest version of APP world.
