I lol'd as i've seen "unbuntu"...

I started centuries ago with Corel Linux (yeah, no joke!), coming to Suse, RedHat and from there to Fedora. Used it a long time, till Ubuntu came up.

I voted Ubuntu cause that is what I use for the most part at home. Another box runs IPCop but just sits in the corner and works behind the scenes.

In eary 96 or so, while perusing through Wal-Mart, I saw a 'new' O.S. on the cheap software shelf. I bought Red Hat for $4.99 that day. Tried it out, but I was young and dumb. Couldn't really figure it out. Later that year I tried Dragon Linux (Still have half the floppies for it somewhere).

I have tried so many distros though. I've got a copy of DSL on one of my thumbdrives and can boot into that at work when the boss is gone :-D

It's only been the last 3 years that I have really been using Linux though.

Gentoo here. I've been running it for about 3 years now. I'm not a fanboy about it, I just absolutely detest rpm-based distros. I'm a Solaris admin by trade, so dealing with poor package management is no real problem for me. I can deal with the compiling as I was already used to doing so when I ran Solaris on my main workstation.
