Why is it that I can't get AOL Messenger from AOL on my Nextel 7100, but my buddy who has T-Mobile's 7105 can?

Why not use Ramble IM, it's the same thing and it's free. I use Ramble IM to talk with all my AOL contacts.

Ramble works great on the Nextel Blackberries.

Seems to give me problems on my 8700g.

Your buddy gets charged a text message on his aim software. use ramble, it uses data not sms

The question should be when will AOL make the non sms app and why they haven't yet. Yahoo and google have done it and I would figure since aol is the leader in messaging it should have been the first.
