Default WTF WTH FML Freezing on 8820 non stop

Please Login to Remove!

Ok. This is an 8820 device. My issue is that the device will freeze after a minute of use prompting me to remove and insert the battery. It doesn't end and I'm very frustrated with this damn thing. I went to att.com/bbdownloads, downloaded the 4.5 OS and updated the handheld software. Same issue. I DIDNT choose to option to backup. I decided to start fresh and not load the backup thus loading the potential freezing problem back into the device.

After I updated the handheld software the first time I immediately wiped the handheld to clear out any of the bugs that may have been there. I then decided to download another carriers OS4.5 software. I deleted the vendor.xml file and updated the software same probem. Immediately after I wiped the handheld again. Same god damn issue. The phone is immaculate and the only thing that I noticed is that it's made in mexico. I have a couple of friends who have the same phone, 2 of them having the ones made in mexico. For some strange reason they are unable to load OS4.5 on their devices. Is this a bad batch or something?

I looked on the back of the phone and the water damage indicator is red on the corners of the square but not much.

Sounds defective and any hint of red is water damage.

Would anyone like to buy it? Shoot me an offer I guess you can use it for parts. The battery is brand new just purchased new one 2 days ago thinking it was that. Can provide receipt.

If you are interested in selling it, please post a thread in the Buy/Sell/Trade section.
