Default BES Replacement Specs

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Admins,

We would like to replace the BES with something that can run the newer OS and database with more RAM as the current server is consistently running at 90% or more memory utilization. Do you all know if BES 5.0.1 will work with this new configuration?

Window 2008 (64 bit) with 8GB of RAM
SQL 2008 on same host (could move off if needed)
Exchange 2007

Thanks all,
Rich

Not an Exchange shop; Domino.
We'll be installing BES 5.0.x in about a month with this setup. I don't expect any problems.

Running all BES in VM Ware.

BES01
Windows Server 2008 SP2 64-bit
C drive=40 GB
D drive=80 GB
RAM=4 GB
Windows Server 2008 running on C drive.
All other items (BES & Domino) running on D drive.

BES02 (HA machine)
Windows Server 2008 SP2 64-bit
C drive=40 GB
D drive=80 GB
RAM=4 GB
Windows Server 2008 running on C drive.
All other items (BES & Domino) running on D drive.

BAS01 (BAS and BES Monitoring only)
Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit
C drive=40 GB
D drive=80 GB
RAM=4 GB
Windows Server 2008 running on C drive.
All other items (BES) running on D drive.

BESMgmt on SQL is on it's server & instance.
