Default BES users allowed to surf interenet locally??

Please Login to Remove!

I have BES 4.1.6.16 and i have 2 questions for you.
i notice that all of my devices come back to our server when surfing the web, which is good and bad. it uses my firewall for content filtereing but for users that i dont retrict it makes it a little slower. can i assign users in different poilicies that i can allow some to use wahtever local interent is around. im good with making poilcies buit dont knwo whenre i can turn off the web redirection. is this possible?

also, how do i remove the error that a lot of users get that the entity is too large when they are surfing the web?

thanks in advance!

This KB article should provide some guidance.
KB15242 - How to use IT policy rules to hide browsers on the BlackBerry smartphone - Port3101.org : Your BES Connection

Basically, the Internet Browser goes direct to Internet (not through BES MDS-CS) and the BlackBerry Browser will go through your BES to the Internet (using MDS-CS).

If you want certain people to only use the Internet Browser... then create and give them an IT Policy which only allows the Internet Browser, and does not allow them to use the BlackBerry Browser.
