Default Outlook 2010 Contacts sync problem with new BB Desktop also

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded and installed the latest Desktop software version 6.01.18 which is supposed to support even the 64bit version of the program.
Finally Intellisync is able to see Microsoft Outlook and that option appears in the sync, but when I try to configure I get the error message, Program terminated unexpectedly.
I deleted the Intellisync folder in the C:Users-AppData-Roaming , but still no luck with the sync.
Can someone please advice.
I am using the 32bit Office 2010 on a Win 7 64bit system.
Thanks in advance.

Delete DM and do a reinstall. Turn off your antivirus before running the install. Since you have 32 bit Outlook, you can use an earlier version of DM.

Did as you suggested, but still the same error, "The operation terminated unexpectedly ".
Any other suggestions please, I need to get this working badly.

Reboot PC and BB.

You can always use Google to sync contacts and calendar

Re-follow previously listed troubleshooting: Uninstall BBDM, reboot, Re-install BBDM (if you can specificy 64-bit during installation, do so), Reboot.

Also you can check the eventvwr logs for Application, Security, and System to see what's up; it may provide a clue.

The "Compatibility mode" of that program can be modified by opening the program Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and set the "Compatibility mode" to the requested OS. This will "fool" the application into thinking it is running on one of the other OSs. Your using a 32 bit Outlook so try running DM in 32 bit mode.
