Default I do not know what to do with this pearl

Please Login to Remove!

My son recently came back from a trip to Washington DC last month where he found a blackberry pearl on the sidewalk. He says that his friends pressured him to keep it so he took out the sim card and destroyed it. I recently found him trying to sell it and confiscated the phone. What I would like to know is if there is any way I could find out who it belongs so I could return it? Thanks in advance.

Contact the service provider they can look up the IMEI and find owner. Odds are they have replaced it. Or filed insurance claim. Good on you for wanting to get it back to its owner!

Do you know the service provider!

Yeah, it says Cingular on the top, so I would call AT&T now since they merged?

Where do I find the phone's IMEI?

If it powers on go to options>status select status and the IMEI is there

It is also located on the back underneath the battery!

I work for ATT I can look it up at work tomorrow
