When I go into Options - Adv Options - HRT - Register It says Cingular [310...] with about 12 different numbers to choose from. There is one of them in bold. That is the one I picked to register. Is this correct? I am still getting the same error.

Exchangemymail had to reset my password. Their Enterprise Activation password is only good for one shot so they had to reset it. Good to go. Very cool themes. Thanks for the detailed instructions.

If you're in the Zen theme, then one of the options is in fact "Home Screen"...

Home screen option changes additional applications menu
Just got the 8700g, tmobile, updated the OS to .286 -(hong kong OS)...Selected ZEN theme...which I love...but I am having trouble selecting the icons I want to have on the home screen - When I go to options->home screen->organize applications then move and hide applications - I am not hiding applications on the home screen itself but rather in the additional applications menu. No matter what I do, I seem to have 'enterprise activation' and the additional mailbox icons for my various POP3 email accounts on the home screen...even though I am hiding them in the home screen options area.
I've searched and can't seem to find the answer to this dilemma!
Thoughts?
EDIT: I figured it out - thanks to cooperpwc in the 8700 forum. The first five applications in the home screen->organize applications menu, whether they are hidden or not, are what show up on the home screen. Maybe more searching would have turned that up. But whatever, my problems are solved, life is beautiful, I can go eat supper and play with my new daughter now!

Please do a search - this is an easy find. Hold Alt key and press the trackwheel.

That was the first thing I tried. Doesn't work. Look earlier in this post (page 7), I am not the only one this is happening to.

I downloaded the Bharti OS but I don't think I got the Zen themes. Sounds like I may have a glitch somewhere.

Okay, I think you are confused. If not, then your device is broken, so I think you are confused. First, you said you are using the Vodafone theme, so your BlackBerry looks like this, right?
If so, then to arrange the icons around you hold Alt and press the trackwheel, then choose to move icons.
Now, if your BB does not look like that, but instead looks like this:
Then you are using the Zen theme, and the way to arrange icons is to go to Options, Home Screen, Organize Application.
If these instructions do not help, then your device must be broken. these are the only possible solutions for what you have described. Let me know if you get it figured out...

I was not pushing in the trackwheel, just rolling it. Geeeesh. I do have what you have posted above. I was under the impression that it was something different. Sorry for all my confusion and thank you for all your hard work on this to make it available to us BB addicts.
One last question, how do you get your background images from your site to the BB?

No sweat... I am assuming you want the background images for your Zen Theme? If so, go to the image you want and save it to your PC, then email it to your BB, open it, retrieve it in full, save it, then go to your Pictures folder, find it, click on it (actually push the trackwheel in ) and choose the set it as your home screen image. Done...

Not that I am aware of. I'm a Mac user myself, but I have a cheap Dell laptop for use with my BB when necessary, unfortunately...

BES = Blackberry Enterprise Server. Unless your e-mail is redirected from an MS Exchange server or Lotus Domino server, you are most likely not utilizing a BES. I have met a few individuals who have a dedicated “BES” server and have bought a BES license and the KALS that go with it, however, were you one of those individuals, you would certainly know it. If your Blackberry is in fact receiving its e-mail through a BES (corporate), and you have lost your browser, all you have to do is re-generate your encryption key. If you are not on a BES, just re-register your device (if this does not work, delete all the entries from your service book, and then re-register your device). That should bring back your browser (i.e. Blackberry Browser, M-mode, Internet Browser, Cingular Browser, etc.).
