Sorry abt the problem.

Do you use mediaPlayer or multiPlay? Can you confirm you OS version from Options->About.

Btw: Does it show any error when you attempt to play or just displays a blank screen?

Thanks.

I just try MediaPlayer and is working good only problem is when you have Color Perl on "red or blue" and you watch the Video then ... when you exit the Video color go to default white every time ...so i think there is a bag on something...

Thanks for letting us know, since the mediaPlayer has a trackball lighting feature - I think it clashes with the Color Pearl - np - we can get it sorted out sooner via a setting to ignore trackball lighting. Please stay tuned for an upgrade related to this very soon.

Default Requests/Comments

I've been usine the Media Player with my stereo adaptor/headphones and it works great in stereo!

I also like to compliment on the tech support, it is memorial day and i bought the software but didn't get the validation key. In 20 minutes of my email request I got a reply with the validation key!

I have a couple of requests for future release:
1) Replaygain support!!!! I don't know if this is possible because of CPU power, but audio phanatics like me like to use replaygain to keep the volume the same of all files. That way I won't have to be consitantly changeing the volume when the song changes.

2) FLAC support. This isn't really that important since the BB Pearl will only hold 2 gigs, but it's a nice option to have anyways.

It was a pleasure helping you. Btw there is a new version of multiPlay with some bug fixes available at http://dollars5.com/OTA/multiPlay.jad

I think the problem you faced was with the screen settings, as you run it as free personal edition. Try changing the settings:
Video Settings:
Display Full Screen (unchecked)
Display Video Title (checked)
Display VideoControl (Checked)

Hopefully this should work. Should you still have problems let us know, it would be kind of you to test for us as it may help many other users who might run into similar issues.

Regards.

Default Search and File Explorer does not work

I just downloaded the mediaplayer trialversion and the Search and File Explorer does not work. I can not find any of the MP3 files on my microSD card. I can play the files using the standard BB media player but not with yours. Any ideas?

I tried to install the SW through the BB application loader and throughthe web download http://www.dollars5.com/OTA/mediaPlayer.jad with the same result:

Search is Completed!
No results to Display.

File Explorer displays: *Empty*

BTW I have an 8800 with 4.2.1.68.

Thanks,
Andrej

Hello Andrej,
Do you mean when you open the file explorer - it is empty? it doesnot show the /card and /device folders?

Also make sure that you have your USB charging cable unplugged as it might cause the card to be mounted to your pc in storage mode.

Regarding search - if you are able to see files in file explorer only then the search will work - feel free to shoot us an e-mail at through Dollars 5 Complete Contact us our developers will help you short out the issues.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have tried disconnecting the USB cable. I have reformatted the card and reloaded some MP3 files. The file explorer still remains empty. I have sent your support team an email with all the info.

Cheers,
Andrej

Thanks for your interest with the mediaPlayer.

You mean closing or pressing the hangup key to move away from video playback?
Currently it stops the video due to some restrictions - but sooner we plan to add the feature to remember the position and play from there.
