The latest version of Facebook is giving me a fit, It randomly puts things in my message folder and I am unable to delete them. Whats the deal here? I heard facebook is already aware of the problem? Anyway to rid of the messages? Its really aggravating!

Facebook may be aware of the problem, it's more like a problem of Facebook for BlackBerry, and yes they are aware of the issues with the notifications.

I got the same problem, after a battery pull they were gone. I also disabled fb messages in my message options on my 9550 5.0.0.1015. Doesn't seem to be the spot, I'll find it again

To disable the facebook messages you have to go to the Facebook app and it is in Menu Key> Options.
