Default Message Filter help

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
My boss has a request that I cannot figure out. He has his outlook synced up to his blackberry and receives many emails from a specific email address. He wants to still receive these emails to his phone he just does not want them to go to the "Messages" section. To my knowledge the messages section is a combination of all emails, text messages, facebook alerts etc etc. I understand that you can turn off certain email accounts from showing up in the messages section, but he needs all of his emails to go there, he just dont want to have this specific address to go there. Is this possible? Thanks for you time.

I'm not sure how outlook works, but I know with my Lotus Notes setup I have a filter rule setup on my PC, which sends some emails directly to folders. These messages don't show up on my BB at all, unless I browse to that folder to view them. You might try setting up a rule in Outlook to send those emails to a specific folder.

You can either filter it to go to the device, or to not go to the device.
You cannot filter a certain FROM email address to go to the phone but NOT to messages icon.
It has to go to the Messages icon [or individual email icon] but you cannot seperate a certain FROM address to not go the messages icon.
