I did, late last night, on a bellyfull of gobbler, an uneventful install.

Reboots are quite a bit faster, and it runs smoothly enough; aside from that, I haven't had it long enough to notice anything untoward.

Installed - have rebooted numerous time to install BBM, then remove BBM. Def doesn't boot any faster - might even be slower for me like 8 minutes now.

See nothing different yet.

Installing now...will come back in the next day or so and give you my observations. I was very unhappy with 713, as I had the buzzing, no SMS, and alot of other weird issues.

I really wish VZW would notify us of these updates.

Have been running the new VZW version and all seems to be good. Install was painless, and everything was recovered properly after the OS upgrade. Will let you know how I do over the week.

Just finished .1015 on Storm 2, thru BB desktop, Went smooth, I notice nothing different except the hotmail icon got better looking. Gmail icon, unchanged. Had to enter all the passwords to some apps, otherwise normal.

Not sure what you are referring to - the kb you referred to has to do with Calendar and a missing Calendar service book. I thought you were referring to Address Book sync issue.

Normally it's just the Facebook (or some other calendar) needing to be changed on the Blackberry, but one of the times I did have to back and restore the Address Book to get it working (as per KB23978).

And yes, on this build, it does seem that the phone doesn't automatically switch into Bedside Mode.

I did the upgrade to my Sprint Bold 9650 OTA. I am having a similar issue with my address book on the device. The total # of contacts is correct but one entry is repeated many times. Several contacts are missing (I guess they are replaced by the repeating contact). I do not have an option to sync Address Book from DM 6, the box is greyed out. Also, when I use DM to erase my device's contacts, there is NO Contacts or Address Book!!! How can this be?
