Hey all!

Is there a way to change the way you can send SMS texts. When you press the "return" key the text is automatically sent. Because I'm trying to get used to using the keyboard, I accidentally hit the key all the time and the messages are sent while I'm trying to correct text or before I'm finished with the message.

Sorry if this seems like a silly question but it's really frustrating me. It wasnt doing this yesterday when I first bought it, so I'm thinking I changed something but I have no idea what as I've been in just about every menu option learning the phone.

Go to:

Options\SMS Text

Scroll down to "Pres Enter Key to Send" and change to "No"

Sadly the 9530 doesnt have that option in that spot. Maybe somewhere else though. just don't have the patience to look for it today.

In that same spot-storm 1??? options/sms text? I went there numerous times to make sure I wasn't crazy. I returned the phone. Didn't love it enough to keep it. Thank you!!

That was a good decision. All focus is now on the Storm 2.
