sorry if this is not an appropriate post. i have a blackberry q10 (and one mothballed) that i love, but at&t is telling me after they upgrade their network the blackberry q10 will not longer work. i have https://www.smoothtalker.com/custom-...adles/hbq10ca/ car charging stands in both cars for my blackberry q10, but if i sigh and go to the so-called "blackberry" keyone (assuming at&t gets them back in stock later) i am having a hard time finding car charging stands unambiguously stating they will work with keyone (and looking like solid reliable car install equipment). any thoughts / leads appreciated and thx

I have been looking for any information on the service discontinuing by ATT.
I even looked on their forum page. I hope they don't because I don't like the android and iPhone because they force users to upgrade by dropping support and blocking apps unless you have the latest OS from them. I tried to do an upgrade on a android phone I had and it was blocked for updates. a very simple message from google was that the phone was no longer supported. Apple uses the same method. Nice way to sell more phones. force users to dump them in two years.

if you have a link that tells users ATT is dropping service please post it.

at&t's notice did not use your "dropping service" verbiage. i currently have an at&t branded blackberry q10 (which i love) but apparently after january 2022 my blackberry q10 will no longer work on at&t's network. here is a copy/paste of the notice i received (and inside friend verified with his sources is correct)

3G Sunset - Single Line Customers

We're upgrading our network. You'll need a new phone by Feb. 2022.
Go online to www.att.com/3gmigration to upgrade and replace your phone with a newer one.

Thanks, looks like my Z10 is gone also.
I do not understand why Key1 and Priv are the only ones on the list.
Both are older. 2015 Priv and 2017 Key 1 release date
Their network OS must be ok.

The z10 in 2013.

Hello to all forum users. Guys, I would like to leave a post about services where I can order an essay. I tried several times to ask users which of them is order cheap essays on FastEssay.net, but my posts are regularly deleted. I have never ordered an essay on the Internet and I am interested in all the smallest details and nuances. Perhaps you can help me with something. Thanks to all.

vondes,
I did an internet search and found a few companies that offer essays. I would do a research and then look for reviews on the various companies.

Hi Tsac....Still plugging away here I see. Hope you are well.

This service discontinuation is across the industry and has been coming for a long time. I assume you have seen many explanations, but the short of it is 3G and 4G that do not support HD Voice (VoLTE) is not supported by certain phones will no longer work on most networks as of early 2022. I think that date has already moved around some and was extended so I am unsure if it will be final, but I suspect it will be.

Good luck....

I received multiple emails from AT&T "claiming" I have only a few months before I would loose service on my Z10. I picked up a cheap iPhone SE 2020 at Walmart for less than $200. Might last for a few months if I don't keep dropping it. Already cracked the rear screen. Dropped the Z10 many times and it never had any issues.

i now seem to have it confirmed my blackberry q10 won't work on at&t's network after 1-31-2021 (now have a keyone ready to swap closer to then). meanwhile my q10's browser has gone weird. home page is google advanced search. always came up with important fields there and readable. now suddenly i get a VERY tiny much more complete set of fields. i can Reload to get a somewhat better more readable page, but it's a pain having to do every time. fonts for device are 11 and everything else has remained fine. will try to attach picture of new awful browers home page opening view. i've googled but not found any relevant and effective soluttion (changing suggested settings, and back, seems to change nothing). any thoughts appreciated. (tried to post independently under q10 but could not make that work.) dern, do not seem able to attach picture

You will find that Google and the cell phone service companies are playing with the older phones to push the users to new phones. Look at the iPhone se 2020. Brand new phone and it will not support the new cell service 5G . Want to bet Apple is playing a game to force users to new upgrades every year?
You may have not realized the changes in the web displays on a computer screen because of the size but push the same detail to a cell phone and you get what your seeing, a crunched mess.
As for the older models, none of them support 5G, but the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max which is a new phone also does not support 5g.
I have not checked other cell makers to see what they support but it looks like it may be something I need to do.

I think I need to see if I can get my 1975 Bag phone to work

Hello,
My 9700 cannot connect to the blackberry infrastructure over the mobile network since two days.
Strange thing is that it happens regardless of which of the two carriers (spain, moviestar and orange) i try. If one of the carriers had disabled the option to use the blackberry APN, ok, But two at the same time?
My home carrier (germany telekom) does not know an answer.
Connecting using wifi is still fine. So I know my Server is good, and also the Servers connection to blackberry is good.
Does anyone know what I could do - or is this finally the end of the 9700?

It looks like I still will be able to use the 9700 (until blackberry finally presses the off switch in 2022). Today night at 0:00 someone responsible for the network pressed a reset button. The connection is up again.

You may find many strange things happening going forward. The Cell companies wont admit any involvement but i bet they also want to push new phones to users. Most users will simply buy from their carrier and the carrier makes money.

Sadly it looks like the company who purchased Blackberry phones has dropped the old line in favor of the new look. The BB phones security level was lost when the change to Android was made and I would guess many users simply thought it would be good to see about other phones. The new one will also offer 5G service Maybe when the details are given, security will be better than other Android phones.
time will tell

Good day. The beneficial effect of using big data for a business depends on many factors, most importantly - on the type of business. In general, it is used to promote products, develop more effective business strategies, reach customers, explore new markets and target audiences, and optimize workflow.

reality is the "big" companies are pushing customers to new devices by either telling people the one they have is not as good as the new version and if that does not work they will shutdown the service as the big cell carriers are doing now.
Think the cell makers are involved? Business strategies ? money maker strategy is number one.
