Ok, so I dont even have my Blackberry yet. Fedex is due to deliver it sometime today. But I've been reading tons of info about the devices and I figured where better to get the real scoop than from people that use them everyday?
About me....nothing real exciting. I'm a police dispatcher in southwest FL. Been a self-taught computer geek for years and have always been into gadgets. One of the things that attracted me to the Blackberry was its ability to allow me to carry one device, instead of both my phone and my video/mp3 player. Having an 8Gb sd card doesnt compare to a 30Gb media player, but it will be nice to only have to carry one thing with me.
I'm a mod on several motorcycle forums, so I'm pretty familiar with the forum layout. Of course having 200K+ members is pretty impressive lol. I look forward talking with some of you and learning how to get the most out of my 8330....when it gets here
Am I jumping the gun?
At least I have plenty to read about in the mean time...found plenty of interesting threads here
