Default Enterprise Activation Issue

Please Login to Remove!

I'm based in HOuston, TX; but traveling in France. MY BES email quit working prior to leaving US, but I could not get our system admin to reset prior to
coming to Europe. NOw that I'm here, I get error message when I try to reactivate (enterprise reactivation) my BES email. I'm assuming I need to be in US for this to occur? If not, how can I reactivate while in France?

You need to check with your wireless service provider to see if you have an international roaming data plan.

I do have an international roaming plan with AT&T, made the trips to Europe with not problems in the past, of course, my email was working before I left. I have not tried to reload my OS, I'm running 5.0.0.411 on my Bold. I'm beginning to think, I should do a backup, wipe, reload, then try EA.

But, can I do an enterprise activation from Paris, if I'm based in Houston?

What exactly isn't working with your BES email? What happens when you try to send an email from your BES account? There could be several things going on here....I think you should contact your BES Admin before you do anything.

The activation won't work unless they set the activation password for you.

Everything works fine, except sending and receiving company email. My admin reset the activation password, but I get an error message that says either the email address or password is incorrect.

Then you need to contact your BES Admin as they need to reset your password. Since you're on a BES we are not able to help....

Regarding your question about activating while in Europe, it should work, but again you need to work with your BES Admin to find out why the BES isn't talking to your device.

Wirelessly posted

Ok, did a backup, then wipe and reload of OS. Then went into Outlook and added a new profile for BB. Then connected device to DM, resent profile to newly created one, did a sync, everything works great.

I think if I created the new outlook profile first, it might have corrected my problem without the other steps.
Thanks for the repsonses.
