I got a italic envelope on top of my display wit a little red asterisk on the top-right corner. I go to my messages/emails and i have no new messages. Can anyone tell me what this is? Thanks in advance.

Is the red character a star? Might be BB messenger. Go to that folder and check. Otherwise, go here:

Good Luck!

Well... a yellow envelope with a red asterisk on it and usually with a number before it is the new message icon. If this is what you have then there may be a message hiding in a folder somewhere. While in messages hit menu the scroll down to view folder and check all those folders. If that doesn't help or even before, try a battery pull. With the phone powered on, remove the battery for 10 seconds then reinstall and let it boot up, see if that fixes it.

Edit: Yeah...and what he said above...lol. I don't use BB Messenger so I wouldn't know how that one looks.

When I started using mine, sms messages were not being delivered to the messages folder, but to "SMS and MMS". You may need to unhide this folder in the main menu. Hope this helps.

Wirelessly posted (8320 Titanium)

The italics folder icon is for an SMS message. Go to your message folder and press alt-s to display the sms folder, you most likely have an SMS message...
