Well if you don't care about price, I think the S9 is the best. But I don't often use mine and spent a little less on the Southwing SA505 Bluetooth Headset. It's pretty decent, but there is sometimes some static or hissing/popping.

RIM does not guarantee that any third-party Bluetooth accessory will work with a Bluetooth-enabled BlackBerry device.

Here is a list of Bluetooth headsets known to work with BlackBerry devices:

· Flamingo™ Bluetooth Headset *
· Jabra® BT250v
· Jabra JX10
· Logitech® Mobile Pro™ Headset
· Motorola Bluetooth Headset H500 **
· Motorola Bluetooth Headset HS820
· Motorola Bluetooth Headset HS850
· nXZEN™ 5000
· Plantronics M3000 Bluetooth Headset
· Plantronics Discovery™ 640 Bluetooth Headset
· Plantronics Explorer™ 320 Bluetooth Headset
· Plantronics Voyager™ 510 Bluetooth Headset
· scala-500™ ***
· Sony Ericsson Akono™ Bluetooth Headset HBH-602
HBH-600 does not appear in this list does not work with BlackBerry.

Hope this helps!!

I use the Motorola S9 and it is great with the curve. Good call quality and no static. I have also used the Motorola HT820. The only difference with the S9 is the size. The HT820 is bulky but call quality was good too.

Hope this helps.

I tried the BlueAnt stereo headset and it was great except that the video wouldn't play through it. It would start playing through the speakerphone.

Also, if I had my phone in my pocket or blocked it with my arm or hand, the sound would cut out. This it typical of all bluetooth devices. They don't travel through the body.

The S9 was uncomfortable and would only play phone calls through one ear, not both, which was annoying. I'm not sure about video playback, but I seem to remember reading in this forum that it doesn't handle video playback.

Finally, all of the stereo headsets except for the S9 made me look completely dorky.

Until they get this right, I'm sticking with the BB OEM wired headset (or, even better, a iPhone headset).

One other note... For the car, I bought a Parrott MiniKit handsfree bluetooth adapter, which is AWESOME. I just turn it on when I'm in my car and it immediately hooks up. I don't even take the phone out of my pocket in the car anymore. The speaker is loud and I'm told it sounds great on the other end.
