Whenever someone sends me a message on facebook it doesnt give me the option to reply in the APP, it tells me I have to go to the mobile website to repsond. Is anyone else expierencing this? Anyone know how to fix this? It just happend out of no where!

Log onto the site on your computer and reset all the notification settings. Facebook will randomly just reset them for some reason

On my app, it won't give me the option to reply message unless I have the sender's name highlighted at the time. Maybe try clicking on their name. Also, try the reseting thing.

I've noticed the same thing started happening on mine. Not sure how to fix.

I've got the same problem. Otherwise, the Facebook app could have already gotten to v2, but it is obviously stuck at v1 at BB.

Same problem by me, nothing got reset though. Replying to a wall post still shows up.

This has happened to me as well. If your notifications are set properly in Facebook and its still happening, I have found that deleting the app and reinstalling does the trick.

I noticed I stopped receiving notifications entirely via the App. I've deleted, uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no avail. I have my FB email linked to the BIS email, too. I have settled for the text ones and they're just not up to par. Any tips? Thanks in advance!

anyone know when the update to the facebook app is coming to the blackberry? I read something mentioning it a month ago but it didn't list any features or a timeframe.

I think the Facebook App is kinda "skiddish". It's not consistent. Sometimes it pops up on the BB, sometimes it does not. I think it has something to do with your home e-mail server and the timing of messages to your BB. I wish I could shut FB off from sending me the additional e-mails at home. Between the online version notifications when you are on your page and the BB and the e-mail, I get everything three times.

It's still pretty cool to update your status, etc. via the BB...it works more times than not...

We are supposed to get a v1.5 of the facebook app sometime this month. Hopefully it will fix a lot of the notification problems as well as add more functionality.

In the Options on the app, you can have it delete the email notification.

Hi guys,

I update Twitter via TwitterBerry, and that updates my Facebook status. On the facebook website I can see that it updates, but in the Facebook app it doesn't. Any idea why this is and what I can do to fix it?
