Default Blackberry Curve 8310 - Accessing Internet Email

Is it possible to get internet email using the Blackberry Curve 3310 with a Tmobile account? I have a unlocked Blackberry 3310 and was told that I could not setup internet email because of a service book issue. Is that correct? Is there a workaround.

I assume you mean 8310 correct?
