Post signs that state the premises are guarded by dogs after hours. Then get one of those motion-activated sound machines that plays an angry dog barking and growling.

The other alternative is a little camping expedition and a Mossberg 12 Ga. loaded with 4-Buck. That's my preferred load anyway.

Although I'm quite fond of the Barrett M82A1, I do believe in using the right tool for the job. In an urban environment you have to take into account downrange collateral damage, and with the Barrett, "downrange" can be a mile or more!

Nothing beats a shotgun for CQB and for sheer intimidation factor. Trust me, when someone is pointing a shotgun at you it looks like a Howitzer cannon. If you intend to hold someone for the police, nothing convinces them that their little game is over and it's time to behave like a 12 Gauge. Also, just wracking the pump makes a noise that commands instant respect.

Sounds like you should be working on a plan to prevent break ins, not catch the guys after they do it.

4 times in 2 months? Your store has the worst security ever.

Ah, missed that in the first post. So what about security guards? If you're located in a strip or something and some of the other retailers are also being hit, perhaps you all can share the cost of having after hours security? Good luck with it all.

doesnt the store have a record of the ESN#'s of the phones in your inventory? Cant you block all the phones from being activated or better yet see who is trying to activate them?

Correct, the ESNs are all blocked from being activated on VZW, but they could still be taken to, say, MetroPCS or another country.
