Keep us updated with your progress. I personally like the Vodafone graphics, but maybe that is because I like Vodafone as a carrier.

Default Fonts

I upgraded to the Telstra 4.1.0.364 OS and loaded all the Today and Zen themes. The BBMillbank font that was on my previous OS (4.1.0.268 from VZW) displayed a bit better then the new one. I always used the BBMillbank font at 8pt, bold.

Now it is not as readable at those settings. Going ExtraBold is too strong. Is there a way to load the old font?

Grrr iv managed to find the background one, but i cant find the locked screen image. And its still not going to allow custom images from pictures, the theme would have to be redone for each image. Oh wait the main bg one is prolly in the default vodafone icon theme. Doh. Back to hex editing i go.

Aha. found the lock screen image, changed it. Unfortunatly i couldnt get th new png image to be the same file size. I couldnt get it to work with or without padding in the file, either way it failed on transfering the cod file to the bb, so it must fail a crc check part way through treansfere. All i want is the voda logo gone cos im not on voda. grrr. lol

I like Vodafone's logo even though it looks funny on a Sprint device. LOL

Vodafone is my favorite carrier logo.

In the Calendar view for upcoming appointments on the home screen, I cannot get items scheduled for the weekend to display.

For example:

- appt. scheduled for 6/15 at 8:30am
- appt. scheduled for 6/17 at 6 pm
- appt. scheduled for 6/20 at 8:30 am

What displays is the 6/15 and 6/20 appointments. I did check to be sure my Start of Day/End of Day is set to 8 am/9 pm. Any ideas?

Default Going Back

Well I decided to downgrade back to the Verion 4.1.0.268 because of the fonts. Since I never did this before, I want a sanity check.

- full backup of 4.1.0.268 was saved in .ipd file from the desktop manager
- remove Blackberry upgrade for 4.1.0.364 in control panel add/remove
- run desktop manager and accept the downgrade notification
- after downgrade is complete, do a restore from the saved backup

Will this work?

I followed all of the steps for my 7130E, what's really annoying is that it tells me what will be installed/updated and then it tells me it will remove ZEN theme, BBCORRECTOR and RAMBLE (unrecognized)

EDIT:

OTA DOWNLOAD worked fine

Im guessing ZEN, BBCORRECTOR and RAMBLE wer all installed OTA. It seams to do that, but under advanced ther is an option to keep OTA installed programs. Bit late saying now tho.

That option is only avaailable when doing an actual upgrade or downgrade.

Anyone able to change the the list on the home screen? I was able to do it with the Zen theme, but when I go to Organize Applications and put my top 5, it doesn't take effect. The ones listed are Voice Mail, Call Log, Email, SMS Messages, and Calendar. I've even gone into Organize Applications and hid the Call Log icon but it still doesn't work.

Thanks for your help.
