Hello I'm new to blackberry and I need to migrate an exiting organization (exchange2003+besx5 to exchange2013+besx5).
I have an infrastructure based on Windows 2003 with installed Exchange 2003 and besx 5 (on the same server) .
Now I have to upgrade my mail server to exchange 2013 sp1 and I want to move the current besx on a new server .
At this point I would like to understand how to proceed .

The first thing I would do (correct or it's best migrate first exchange from exchange2003 to exchange2010 to exchange2013 sp1) is to migrate the besx on a new server .
To do this migration I have seen that you can proceed in two ways.

The first way is:

Get a new BESx from RIM ( free )
configure the current sql database to accept remote connections , and / or move the current SQL database to the new server:

Then , the old bes Should still function.
Install the new BESx , and During the install point the installer to the correct database .
recreate the mapi profile on Both BES
move one testuser using the BES Console to the new server , test
move the other users
delete the unused instances in the BES BES Console
uninstall the old BES .

or (second option)

I install a new besx with its own database, and then with the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter Tool I 'd move users .

What is the best method ?

I would like to use the method more transparent for mobile (the method that does not require the reconfiguration of phones)

Once I will have migrated to the new blackberry server I proceed to install the server 2010.

After migrating to Exchange 2010 I proceed to install exchange2013 .
As soon as I will have installed the Exchange 2013 I will proceed to migrate the user's mailbox on the new mail server besadmin 2013.
Also that I will setup This step must be completed if the BlackBerry Enterprise Server will service mailboxes located on Microsoft Exchange 2013 and Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010

The procedure I described is correct?
Or would it be better to first migrate the exchange to exchange 2013 and then migrate the besx ?
