Installed Wave theme and it is cool.. I like it .. I was not very fan of those dial icons on the top for battery and signal. now it is the regular old style battery and antenna symbal so it looks nice. I don't know Wave theme requires a reboot of BB8700

Downloaded a theme (http://mobile.blackberry.com) for my phone and it said it had to reboot to apply it. It rebooted but the theme is the same as the default. Any ideas. OS 4.1

Go to Options/Themes then click the trackwheel on the theme you want. Does it apply or do you get an error message?

LOVE the wave theme, especially when I changed the Home Screen Image to the Orbital.jpg - looks very cool like that.

seattle18, good call on the orbital.jpg! I'm using the Wave List theme and just switched to the orbital image.

Because it seems to do other screens that other themes do not have, like incoming calls. Then again, that's just a SWAG.

I can't get the new games or themes to load on my 7100i. I get "download error 907 invalid cod unable to import zip file". Anyone have a solution for this?

i just want to load some themes...ive tried searching and cant find a definitive answer as to how to do so other than loading the .alx file (which i tried with no luck)......also, i keep hearing about the wave theme and would like to try it...suggestions?

use your desktop manager and click on application loader, follow the prompts and point to the alx file. Remeber to load the theme_reader file also so the bb can read the theme. Remener to re-boot the device (bb) and go to options after and you should see the new theme.

i have the 7100g for cellular one. when i do the 4.1 upgrade i cant load any themes, not even the default ones i get a error, what am i doing wrong?

I just checked out mobile.blackberry.com to see if there were any new themes for my Nextel BB 7520, and there IS a new theme! It's called "Smoothie". From the teeny, tiny preview image, it looks like it might be similar to the updated "standard" BB theme on the 8700C, but it's hard to tell. Has anyone been using this yet? Got any screenshots?

I like Pixelistic a lot, and I don't want to change themes only to find I don't like the new one, because then I'll have to spend time reconfiguring Pixelistic to be the way I like, as some of your custom settings get wiped out when you switch themes.

So, anyone tried "Smoothie" yet?

I used and kept in on my bb maybe ten seconds before I deleted it. Is too 'bubble gum' for my liking. I prefer the pixelistic and that is what i use. Now if Zen was available I would switch in a blink.
