Default IP Address for BAS

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BES server running 5.0.2 with 2 NIC's in it. One NIC is connected to my production network and the other is connected to my storage network. The problem is: when the BES boots, BAS binds to the IP address on the storage network. Is there a way to stop BAS from doing this? Can I hard code the production NIC ip address to BAS?

Thank you for your assistance!

Default Re: IP Address for BAS

How about a workaround:
Manually start the BES services using a batch file, inside this, disable the second network interface before starting BAS, then, enable it after BAS/the BES services are running ?

like this:
netsh interface set interface "Local Area Connection1" DISABLED
net start "BlackBerry Router"
net start "BlackBerry Attachment Service"
net start "BlackBerry Dispatcher"
net start "BlackBerry MDS Connection Service"
net start "BlackBerry Alert"
net start "BlackBerry Controller"
net start "BlackBerry Administration Service - Application Server"
net start "BlackBerry Administration Service - Native Code Container"
sleep 360
netsh interface set interface "Local Area Connection1" ENABLED
