Nope. Not made to do that. And it isn't an iPhone.

There is a rumor in one of the leaked powerpoints on a few BlackBerry blogs a few weeks ago about a leaked slide that mentions a WiFi hotspot feature coming to BlackBerryOS 6. It might have been the Storm 3 or the Torch. Take with a healthy grain of salt, could have been fake -- but...

However, in the meantime, you can jailbreak your iPad to add Bluetooth tethering. Then tether your iPad like a laptop to your BlackBerry over Bluetooth (Torch already supports Bluetooth tethering)

are you talking about this: BlackBerry Storm 3 details shown off in training slide?!? Looks like Mobile Hotspot is coming to BlackBerry! | CrackBerry.com

i was looking into that as well.. but it's not available in the Torch

I was told to download iBluever on Cydia (from another forum)... but it doesn't seem to work. Do you have other recommendations that I can download in Cydia or Apple App store?

The Storm3 will have a mobile hotspot, the Torch does not.

Jailbreaking the ipad may allow you to run unsigned code and do all the funky mods but it also removes all security mechanisms and code checks by the vendor. (not that it needs jailbreaking to run unsigned code as we all know.. but that's for a different thread).

Maybe research the market for a 3g to wifi little bridge. Extending and Protecting 3G/4G Networks Wirelessly | Cradlepoint Technology have portable solutions that work with blackberry. That means sadly another thing to carry and charge but they're pretty small and can fit in the smallest of laptop bags. Then you just hook it on the BB and connect your devices (ipad, etc) on it over wifi.

Is there a way I can tether without going through DM? If so, how can I configure it on my Torch?
