My 9520has ceases initialise of voice commands at 4% scanning contacts and cuts out I need this function for driving I think this happened after receiving a v c f file which cannot be deleted I have posted before but received no asistance please help

Ok I give in what I would like to know are the pitfalls of doing a complete wipe I can back up to pc but do my settings and e_mail and my carrier details come back on restore it seems a bit intimidating to take such a step please advise anyone
