Default Sleeper Switch Location

Please Login to Remove!

The Pearl contains a switch inside that puts the unit to sleep when a magnet is in proximity. I've been trying to find the location of this switch for several days with no success.

I'm including a high-resolution image of the rear side of the Pearl. If the switch is on the front side, please let me know and I'll post a front image.

If you know where the elusive switch is, please post a marked copy of the image. Thanks in advance!

Most browsers will shrink the image to fit the window, you may need to zoom.

It's probably right under your nose. Did you ever think to take a little magnet to the phone to see where it might be?

It's in the front of the bottom of the phone...I added a magnet to a Gameboy Micro case that I had and it put it to sleep without any problems

I just tried with one of those 1" magnets used to stick papers to metallic white boards etc. If I centre the magnet over the M/9 key, it puts the Pearl to sleep instantly. As soon as I move the magnet away, it wakes up.

So I'm guessing the sensor switch is under this key

Good call. Way to take a step forward to get the magnet!
