I overheard some staff in a Bell Mobility store saying the cdma Curve would be out in about 2 months. This was about Dec 1 which makes the release date Feb 1. Take that for what its worth!

That's good news. A reliable post over on Howard Forums is saying a late Q1 release for Verizon.

I hope this info turns out to be factual.

I wonder how the BB 8330 will stack up against the new models in the 9000 series. And how long the wait will be before RIM announces/launches them. As usual, we'll all have to be patient and wait. (Sigh)

Ditto! I'm waiting in anticipation for the 8330 or whichever the model number may be (most likely what i just wrote). The CDMA curve is what alot of our execs and big whigs were waiting for!

Cannot wait to get these guys tested and used over here at work!

Probably this post. Seems about right to me from what I've been hearing from Telus (they usually release BB's around the same time).

If Sprint Sux go with Verizon. If you think Veririzon Sux go with AT&T... you have at least four choices for your nick name here!

I will skip the Pearl2 and wait for the 8330. BTW all CDMA BlackBerry's are 3G aka 1XEv (REV.0) Has anyone seen a 3G GSM BlackBerry?

They had one overseas , the 8707g which it was introduced with Telstra in Australia. Telstra rolled out a 3GSM or UMTS based network. It was based on the scroll wheel and not on the "pearl" or trackball, it's an older device.

I was just in a bell store today and the salesman told me that march is the eta on the curve. I can't wait, I'm getting tired of my 8703.

That sounds about right. I heard March for the CDMA curve as well.

Not sure but i doubt it. It'll prob be the same as the rogers one which has GPS instead of the wifi.

If I can have a service for free I'd be fool to pay for it. Not calling anyone a fool-I should've shopped around before going with bell. That being said here in Calgary the service from a network prespective has been great. Very few dropped calls unless I'm talking with someone on rogers...lol. With so much wifi it just makes sense. Come on curve!!
