Looks like 2-4GB Sandisk(my prf'd brand) almost 2/1... Cheaper too.

Shoulda threw in a SD vs. SDHC catagory; lookin' into a few "bulk" Sandisk 8GB SDHCs for BB and USB use.

4 GB Sandisk. I don't do music/videos on my Bold so I never bothered with the 8GB. At the time I got mine, the 8GB was significantly more expensive.

8GB SanDisk... No issues with the card whatsoever...

But I would like the phone to actualize the music library faster.... My Archos (PVP/mp3) has over 6000 songs in it and it refresh itself in less than 2 minutes... while the 8220 takes over 5 with 1083 songs.... Also my Archos can refresh itself lightly just adding or removing new songs... making the process in less than 30 secs.. BUT I REALLY WANT MY 8220 as my principal mp3 player....

Any fix to this in newer firmware? (currently .180)

I've got a 4 gig Duracell card. Got a good boxing day deal - $10 - and it's been working well as a portable hard drive / occasional mp3 player.

I picked up a generic 1GB micro SD card at Fry's for $7! For my fiancee's newly acquired 8220.

It's either a Kingston or a SanDisk 2GB. The only ones I buy. No problems.

(Edit. Forgot which Forum I'm in. I have 8GB in the 8900. 4GB in my brother's Curve 8310. and 2GB in Mom's 8220. All Kingston or SanDisk.)

4Gb Micro SDHC Class 2 (slow), SanDisk for my BlackBerry

8Gb SDHC Class 6 (fast), A-DATA for my Laptop

Go with the Class 6 Cards they are at least twice as fast as the Class 2 Cards.
I will never buy any card slower then class 6.
