Default Appointments on exchange

Please Login to Remove!

Kind of a newbie type question, but I don't know 100% for sure so I thought I'd ask here. One of my end users is asking about the synchronization between his exchange and Blackberry. He's asking if he adds an appointment on Exchange will it automatically sync up with the Blackberry. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that appointments do not sync...any truth to this?

Does the 'reconcile now' only apply to the inbox or does it also pull over calendar updates and contact updates?

Thanks in advance for any guidance on this.

Regards,
Steve

Assuming calendar is set for wireless sync on BB and BES, any updates made on BB or Outlook should sync to the other

All PIM data is Bi-directional by default.

Reconcile Now only applies to Messages.

Oh, if you read this somewhere, perhaps the reference was for BIS which does not have this except for now recently GMail contact syncing, supported by most carriers.

Another new feature, available I think under version 5.0x of the device OS ( and with BES of course) is that, on the device, you can go into calendar/options/desktop and type in RSET and it will delete the version of the calendar on the re load it from the server..this way you don't need to do another activation to fix the calendar.
